These honey-sesame balls are insanely delicious, healthy and quick to make. Could you ask for more? It’s the kind of thing you want to make a batch of once a week so you can nibble on them whenever that sweet craving attacks, when energy is running low or just when you fancy savouring the delightful combination of toasted sesame with honey and a smattering of cardamom for contrast and digestive ease. Feel free to sub honey for your favourite vegan sweetener 😉
Here’s the recipe:
2 tablespoons toasted tahini
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
5 tablespoons almond flour
a generous pinch of ground cardamom
a dash of vanilla essence
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds for decoration
Knead all the ingredients together except the sesame seeds.
Once combined, roll into smooth balls and then cover in sesame seeds.
Sprinkle with gratitude and enjoy ✨
